About Bwlch with Altitude
Set in the hills around Bwlch and Llangorse in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, the Bwlch With Altitude Challenge is a self-guided walking event combining panoramic routes, quiz checkpoints and a rewarding day outdoors. Designed for families, groups and walkers looking for something a little different, the challenge follows a scenic circular route with views across the Black Mountains, Llangorse Lake and the central Beacons.
Participants complete the course at their own pace, collecting checkpoints and quiz answers along the way before returning to Bwlch Village Hall for certificates, results and refreshments. Alongside the challenge itself, the event offers a great reason to explore the surrounding villages, local cafés, places to stay and walking routes nearby.
