This 9km circular guided walk from Dan-yr-Ogof Showcaves climbs to Waun Fignen Felen, an upland peat bog above an extensive cave system. Explore how peatland condition connects carbon storage, water, erosion, wildfire and flooding—and why restoring healthy peat matters. The walk also connects with the UN International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, observed on 13 October.
