This December, Craig y Nos Country Park is full of festive cheer with two brilliant seasonal activities for all ages — the Find Santa’s Reindeer Trail and the Christmas Fayre in the Hibbert Room.
Find Santa’s Reindeer
Santa’s lost his reindeer, and he needs your help! Head out on a woodland walk through the park to find all nine of them — each cleverly crafted from logs and hidden among the trees. Collect your trail sheet from the Information Shed or Café and enjoy a family-friendly festive adventure surrounded by the beauty of the Brecon Beacons.
Christmas Fayre at Craig y Nos
From 6–21 December, visit the Hibbert Room daily (10.30am–4.30pm) for the Craig y Nos Country Park Christmas Fayre. Browse local arts, crafts and gifts from the Emporium, listen to storytelling and entertainment, enjoy a festive menu at Dwy Afon, and pick up a fresh Welsh Christmas tree to take home.

Dwy Afon is serving a cosy festive menu throughout the Christmas period, perfect for warming up after a winter walk around Craig y Nos Country Park. Expect comforting favourites including loaded fries topped with seasonal flavours, brioche rolls filled with stuffing and cranberry, and a choice of festive paninis.
There’s a selection of seasonal treats too, from cinnamon-bun hot chocolates to Black Forest lattes — ideal for taking a quiet moment by the fire or enjoying outdoors with a view of the gardens.
