Welcome to Bike Park Wales

Ride the Valleys

Set deep in the South Wales Valleys and within easy reach of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, BikePark Wales is the UK’s leading mountain biking destination. With over 40 purpose-built trails weaving through the landscape of Mynydd Gethin, it offers something for everyone – from absolute beginners to advanced riders.

At the heart of the park is a belief that mountain biking should be as accessible as it is thrilling. First-timers can take on Kermit – the UK’s longest beginner downhill trail – while intermediate and expert riders will find plenty to push their skills, with fast flow trails, technical sections, and big-air jump lines.

One of the standout features is the uplift service, taking riders (and bikes) back to the summit time and time again – saving the legs and maximising the fun.

On site, you’ll find everything you need for a full day out: a welcoming café, a bike shop and workshop, and friendly staff on hand to help. Skills coaching and progression sessions are also available if you’re looking to build confidence or tackle a new type of terrain.

Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just after a new outdoor challenge, BikePark Wales is a must-ride.
