Welcome to Bridge 76 Adventures

Paddleboard Adventures from a Unique Canal-Side Base

Brecon Beacons Bridge 76 is all about slowing down and immersing yourself in the water-focused calm of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Perfectly positioned just outside Brecon in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, this is an ideal base for anyone keen to explore by stand up paddleboard.

With direct access to one of the most scenic and peaceful stretches of canal in Wales, guests are encouraged to bring their own SUPs and take to the water straight from the mooring. Alternatively we can arrange rental and tuition for you and your group.

The route offers a lock-free, tree-lined corridor of tranquillity with stunning views, abundant wildlife and endless photo opportunities – perfect for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. The towpath also doubles as a flat cycling and walking trail, so there’s always a way to enjoy the scenery, whether on foot or board.

After a day on the water, retreat to the comfort of the beautifully restored narrowboat. Inside you’ll find a snug wood burner, fully equipped kitchen and a double bed, plus an eco-friendly shower room. The deck is ideal for drying off, relaxing with a drink or stargazing in this designated Dark Sky Reserve.

For a paddle-focused stay in the heart of the National Park, Bridge 76 offers a peaceful, canal-side escape with adventure right on the doorstep.
