Welcome to Ty Newydd Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Tranquil Farmhouse Retreat in the Brecon Beacons
Ty Newydd B&B is a welcoming and peaceful farmhouse, just four miles south of Brecon, ideally placed for exploring Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Set beside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, guests are treated to views of colourful boats passing by, with Pen y Fan rising in the distance.

The 18th-century farmhouse offers four spacious, en-suite bedrooms, each with stunning countryside views and a balance of modern comfort and traditional charm. A hearty Welsh breakfast is served each morning in the sunny breakfast room, made using locally sourced ingredients.Guests can relax in the conservatory or make use of the drying room after a day of walking or cycling. With a separate entrance, visitors are free to come and go as they please, using the B&B as a base to explore nearby hills, towpaths, and trails.

While Ty Newydd feels wonderfully secluded, it’s conveniently accessed from the A40, with good local pubs and eateries nearby. Walking books, maps, and local information are available on site to help plan your adventures.

Whether you’re here for the outdoor activity, the scenic surroundings, or simply some time away from the noise of everyday life, Ty Newydd offers a warm and restful stay.
