Pentre Riding Stables

Pentre Riding Stables, nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, offers a variety of trekking experiences suitable for all skill levels. Their treks range from 1-hour introductory rides to full-day adventures, allowing riders to immerse themselves in the stunning Welsh countryside.

Trekking Options:

1-Hour Trek (£25): Ideal for beginners or those with limited time, this trek provides a gentle introduction to horseback riding while exploring scenic trails.

1.5-Hour Trek (£35): A slightly longer ride, perfect for those looking to delve deeper into the natural beauty of the area.

2-Hour Trek (£45): Suitable for riders seeking a more immersive experience, this trek covers diverse terrains and offers ample opportunities to appreciate the landscape.

Day Trek (£90): For the ultimate adventure, the day trek consists of two 2-hour rides separated by a return to the stables for lunch. Riders can bring their own lunch or purchase from nearby providers. This option is suitable for less-experienced riders and can be booked for a minimum of one person.

Treks are available Monday through Sunday, ensuring flexibility to accommodate various schedules.

Pentre Riding Stables is a British Horse Society-approved facility and an accredited Pony Club Centre. As members of the Wales Trekking and Riding Association, they maintain high standards of safety and horse care. Their well-mannered, surefooted horses are adept at navigating the often steep and rocky terrain, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for all participants.

Experienced guides tailor each ride to the riders’ abilities, with group sizes limited to a maximum of 10 to ensure personalized attention.
