Set just four miles south of Brecon, Bullrush Barn is one of four charming self-catering cottages at Ty Newydd Holidays, a family-run site tucked into a peaceful Welsh farmhouse courtyard. With views over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and the surrounding farmland, it’s a perfect base to explore Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

This converted barn offers cosy, comfortable accommodation for up to four guests, retaining its original character with vaulted ceilings and exposed oak beams, while providing all the modern comforts you’d expect. The cottage features two bedrooms – a king-size double and a twin – plus a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room looks out over the courtyard and is equipped with a wood-burner, modern appliances, a flat-screen TV, and Blue-ray player. Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio area with seating, and secure bike storage is available.

WiFi is available throughout, and EV charging is provided on site (usage charges apply). One well-behaved dog is welcome, and a travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.
